As far as your elected officials, the Democrats allowed some to get a “hall pass” to vote against the final bill (despite supporing it through the amendment process).
Hall Passes are for High School - Not in Hartford.

During the rounds of voting - basically All of the democrats voted Yes to Amendments A and B and then the final tally happened - 15 Democrats got the hall pass to vote No so that they will get re-elected by claiming they support local control.
It is a while until November 2026 but start getting active now.
