Keeping it Local - We The People Need to Vote - I would be Honored by Your Support
Vote ROW B - November 5 - Want to Be Free - Vote Row B for a Better Connecticut
Fellow Friends,
Early Voting ends Sunday. We’ve been out on the Campaign trail for almost a year and now it is time to take action at the ballot box. We need your support so please get out and vote. We are three days from the Main Event - For us it is a David v. Goliath story.
We have been identifying and posing solutions to issues facing the citizens of this district and will continue to do so and we have been working with the local candidates
Our Campaign has been one about Federal Solutions to Local Problems that you and I face living in the Constitution State of Connecticut. We have also looked at world issues and issues that need to be addressed in Congress especially on global energy and reduced global emissions (See Article).
We’ve been out there: knocking doors, talking to people at Garbage dumps (long before we were called garbage), talking to you, marching in parades, talking to our youth, our veterans, talking to communities that have been ignored. We have also spent a lot of time talking to people in the supermarkets about their pocketbook issues. We have a pretty good feeling of the pulse of this State and this Country.
Here are some of the issues that matter to Every Day Nutmeggers like You.
Connecticut has a border crisis. Immigration and bad economic policy is affecting everyone and causes rampant inflation. The fentanyl and trafficking making its way to our backyard must stop. At the grocery stores, many people are waiting to shop on sale days and many are shopping at multiple supermarkets to take advantages of different sales. The sales price of groceries today were the regular prices under the Trump administration.
There is no price gouging at supermarkets as they typically run on less than a 2% profit margin and high volume. They are struggling due to high energy costs, supply chain issues, and theft. Crime is rampant and our police need to be supported and this mantra of Crime Pays Under Harris and Himes needs to be reversed.
Education - Parents want to be able to send their children where they want and we have been advocating for school choice. When we marched the Puerto Rican Day parade, so many parents expressed the challenges of working two or three jobs to be in a position to send their children to private or parochial schools because Bridgeport ranks at the bottom of the school districts of 161 out of about 165. (See our article on Your Child, Your Choice.)
Housing is another major issue and not just 8-30g. Rents keep going up and the supply of housing is an issue in some parts of our district. Pricing is going up for inflationary reasons as cost of home heating is up. Cost of electricity is up. Cost of insurance is up. Hartford keeps jamming 8–30g down our throats. This mandate does not solve the real problem, which is enough affordable ownership of housing. Our children cannot afford to live in Fairfield County. (See our article on housing). We Need a Return to Local Control and Affordable Home Ownership and Building Equity.
Medicare - We are seeing Seniors on fixed income getting the shock of their lives as Medicare funds were diverted - Only $280 Billion - to subsidize the Green New Deal of the Inflation Reduction Act. This will cause major issues and we have to take care of our seniors.
Business - Companies are moving out of Connecticut. The only companies that come here are doing so because they have to. When they get here, they are stuck in traffic because I-95 doesn’t move - You can blame Himes for that one - See our article - When you Are Stuck on I-95 - Blame Himes).
This infrastructure and energy crisis is causing issues to Commercial Real Estate Concerns and we need to bring more jobs to Connecticut with new pro-business strategies including: reduced regulatory burdens, expedited zoning and permit approvals, improving the infrastructure with less congested highways and improved commuter rail service. Federal tax incentives and opportunity zones are tools that can be used to attract new businesses to our beautiful state. These are techniques being used by other states to lure away Connecticut businesses. We need to be more aggressive in both attracting and keeping businesses here. (See our Article on Addressing our Commercial Markets).
I-95 - It needs solutions and some work is being done. Our new concern is that the roads are being improved by contractors not from Connecticut - We have to try and keep jobs here and keep the money in Connecticut that will flow into Connecticut. We launched an inquiry after you complained about New York license plates on the construction vehicles (see article).
Electricity - As for electricity, our bills have gone up significantly because of the public benefit. The electric company should pay for these green initiatives which benefits them by reducing their need to supply additional electricity. You are not obligated to help your neighbor make improvements in a classic taxation without representation. In the interim, I have proposed a deduction on your taxes for this mandate while you push your local State Reps and Senators to push back. (See our article on electricity).
The Border - The border is another big issue, which is woven into many of these other issues and impacts our lives. I am all about closing the border especially after Prison gangs of Tren de Aragua are now killing people in Stamford (See Article). Protecting Women means keeping them safe and keeping known criminals from coming into this country and deporting illegals that commit violent crimes against women and children. My Opponent voted Against the Violence Against Women by Illegals Act - and was wrong on the facts at our debate.
Most of Americans are in agreement on crime and safety. However, Jim Himes has been horrible on the Border and even suggested that we should bring refugees from Gaza. (See our article on Hamas and Himes)
Veterans - We’ve also talked about how veterans have been ignored with better treatment given to illegals and the lack of good resources for veterans to treat their PTSD and other ailments following their service to this grateful nation. (See our Article on Our Veterans).
Israel - Harris and Himes have been terrible on Israel despite the fact Jim Himes largest donor is AIPAC. Himes has pandered to CAIR and was silent when both President Biden and Vice President Harris snubbed Netanyahu and Israel on a very important diplomatic mission. That was their first mission since October 7. (See our Article on Biden and Harris Snub Israel) .
These protests and violence on college campuses needs to end. Free speech is one thing, it is another to incite violence and desecrating government property and attacking our flag while Universities are told by Chuck Schumer to bury the issue.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Now ask yourself what can you do. If any of these issues strike a nerve it is time to take action. As we have been in the words of the Doobie Brothers - Takin it To the Street, it is your turn to Take it to the Polls and Tell Your Friends. Cast your vote. It matters and you matter. So Let’s build the greatest team going into this November to take back Connecticut and Heal this Country.
We are out there working hard for the working people of Connecticut that have been ignored.
On Tuesday, November 5th, go out make your voices heard . The silent majority can no longer be silent any longer. IF YOU DO NOT GO OUT AND VOTE - YOU HAVE NO ABILITY TO COMPLAIN.
We are leaving it all on the field and will not stop until the polls close.
Thank you for your continued support - We will not be ignored any longer.
Put a Doctor in the house and you can do that on November 5th by casting your vote for Dr. Michael Goldstein.
Stand up for America and Our Future and the Future of Our Children and VOTE FOR ME ON ROW B.
I would be honored by your support and tell your friends to get out and vote.
Thank you for your continued support. This is a David v Goliath Moment and We the People Can Do this Together - that one stone is your vote at the polls.

We Need Your Support. Please support if you can.
I wonder how to reconcile the fact that the majority of Americans - including those in Fairfield County- think our nation is headed in the wrong direction, yet they keep voting for the status quo. And James Himes is certainly a swamp creature who will continue the status quo.
